Quality: Quality care is the number one priority of Summit Eyecare Network. Detailed credentialing with written verification assures our providers are properly educated, clinically trained and duly licensed to provide the highest level of primary eyecare. This care includes spectacle and contact lens fitting services, in addition to the diagnosis and treatment of eye disease. Continuing education requirements for our doctors far exceed the requirements for state license renewal. Our quality assurance program, SENQUAL, is comprised of several key components, including an office and chart review during the credentialing process and ongoing patient satisfaction surveys. |

Cost-Effectivity: Cost-effectivity is accomplished through an adherence to proven managed care principles. All of our doctors are therapeutically certified by the State of Ohio. This allows our doctors to manage medical eye emergencies in their offices. Furthermore, each of our doctors must have a 24-hour on-call system to reduce the likelihood of costly emergency room visits. Finally, when necessary, our doctors are trained to make the most appropriate referral for any secondary/tertiary eyecare concerns. |

Convenience: Member convenience is addressed by the careful geographical selection of providers to allow convenient access. This is accomplished by a careful analysis of member population patterns in a specific pay or group region. "People" hours are available at most Summit Eyecare Network provider offices. Saturday and evening patient hours increase patient productivity by reducing unnecessary time away from work. They also help with the "little" patients by not interrupting school hours. |
